Scholars in 7th grade review how careful use of the art element of Value creates the illusion that an object is 3-dimensional.

created a sculpture from items in their crew's backpacks. They drew a contour drawing of the sculpture: keeping the pencil on the paper, draw the contour (outside edge) of the items in the sculpture.
