As they carefully observe fruits and vegetables, scholars become familiar with the concept that shadows have shadows!  In the video below, scholars use what they have learned to draw objects that appear 3-dimensional.

Scholars in Visual & Performing Arts Class

created a sculpture from items in their crew's backpacks.  They drew a contour drawing of the sculpture: keeping the pencil on the paper, draw the contour (outside edge) of the items in the sculpture.
