Math & Letterforms
Teams developed a new food product idea. Using pencils, they drew a twist on packaging for the food with two uses for the actual package!! Part of the assignment was to form a new company to market the food product and also design a logo for the company.
Scholars reviewed the time-honored approach to letterforms as illustrated by Albrecht Durer. Using a grid and following the intersecting lines and curves created by a compass, scholars created their own fonts for letters in their name or a word that describes their personality such as "Awesome!"
