Improv--I am a Tree "Tableau" 

Halloween Night--can you spot the "moon", spaceship circling the moon, zombie, phantom ghost, pumpkins, pumpkin carvers, decorators, decoration, spider on the tree, the tree, etc?

Preserving the Environment: Ever wonder how the animals feel as they move through the environment in search of food and shelter?  8th grade scholars played a popular improv game, "I am a Tree."  Someone starts the imaginative tableau (similar to a still photograph) as a tree on the bank of our nearby stream, "Dry Creek," by declaring, "I am a tree!"  One by one, class members join in as elements or creatures in the environment, stating what they are portraying: water flowing by the tree, a trout swimming in the water, a hawk landing on the tree, a bear looking for trout, etc.
